THINK YOU KNOW PART 2

8th Apr 2020

This is the second part of the Think You Know Internet Safety Home Activity Programme.

🖥   For those who missed Part 1 it was posted on the website here on 30 March.

You can access this easily by clicking on more news and selecting number 6.

Thinkuknow is the education programme of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) aimed at young people and their safe use of the internet.

It is based around three key themes:
• How to have fun
• How to stay in control (or how to take control)
• How to report a problem

As you guide and supervise your child/children with their learning at home we are aware of the advantages of accessing apps, stories, videos and games to support and consolidate learning.

As parents and teachers, we must also be aware of the dangers and be vigilant in managing and monitoring online activities.
During this time of increased internet use, Thinkuknow would like to share with you three 'age related' activity packages, created by the CEOP to help support children and their families over the coming weeks and months.

Each pack contains simple 15-minute activities which you can do at home with your child/children using the Thinkuknow resources.

Access video stories mentioned in the worksheets here:

We have also included conversation starter ideas on this topic.

Part 3 of the programme will be posted when it becomes available from THINK U KNOW.

WE HOPE YOU WILL AVAIL OF THIS USEFUL RESOURCE 👌👌
