It may have been a wet day but that did not dampen the spirits of the girls from the 18 schools who took part in the Sharon Donnelly Girls Football at Glen. Our own girls played with great determination and grit and improved with every game. They progressed to the semi finals where they went to extra time in a very close contest with St Brigid's Mayogall only to lose out by the narrowest of margins.
St John's Swatragh came out as Cup winners while St Eoghan's Moneyneena won the shield.
A huge thank you to all our coaches who officiated at the matches and to Eugene Donnelly of Glenview Trophies for supplying the beautiful trophies.
