Primary 5 worked extremely hard all week preparing for their assembly on Ash Wednesday and the importance of the season of Lent. This morning they shared some information about Ash Wednesday and different ways we can approach our Lenten Journey this year!
They performed the song 'A Gift to You' as we offer good deeds during Lent to thank Jesus for his time in the wilderness, along with 'My Shepherd is the Lord', asking Jesus to guide us through Lent and help us stay true to our Lenten promises! Outstanding singing from everyone! We also shared a special Lenten prayer which will be said by each class throughout Lent.
