Today we were delighted to host the first ever Glenview Old Boys 9-a-side Soccer Tournament.
The event was organised by Daniel Heaney and it saw many of our past pupils and their friends do battle on the pitch. The lively play entertained spectators and the sunshine added to the occasion.
The eventual winners were the Green Team made up of Danny Tallon, Cahir McCabe, Stephen O' Hara, Ciaran McCloy, Cathal Mulholland, Gavin Tallon, Michael Warnock, Dominic Carville and Conor Bryson.
Many thanks to Kelly's Europsar, Tommy McGrath's Menswear, Glenview Trophies, MFL Plant Machinery, Barney Regan, The Fillin Station and all those who made contributions on the day.
Many thanks also to the teams who took part. Our biggest word of thanks must go to Dan Heaney, who made it all happen, hopefully it will be back bigger and even better next year. We are sure Mr. Lagan was smiling down as he saw his pitch being used to bring such fun and craic today.
