Thursday 12th March is Feet First For School when we ask our pupils and their families to walk to school. It is important to note that the school car park will be closed on that morning so there will be no facility to drive through and drop pupils off.
There are four designated meeting points where pupils and their families can meet and walk to school together with members of staff.
The meeting points are as follows;
Car park at the bottom of Fair Hill
The Glen Centre
Maghera Library
Maghera Leisure Centre
Pupils will assemble in the car park on their arrival at school and we will have a short exercise session before having a brief assembly in the hall followed by a fruit snack kindly sponsored by Kelly’s Eurospar.
We look forward to seeing everyone travelling to school actively on Thursday and hopefully it will become a positive habit.
