Empower 1:1 iPad project

8th Dec 2025
We are absolutely delighted to announce our new EMPOWER 1:1 iPad project for all of the children in our school and all of the children to come in the future. Due to the effective leadership and management of our Board of Governors and former principals Mr Hegarty, Mr Lagan and Ms Bradley, the school has been able to invest in iPads so that all children in the school can have access to world-leading technology. We want ALL children to learn and be confident—this project will give children the tools to achieve their very best academically and socially. With every child equipped with an iPad, teachers can personalise learning, provide instant feedback, and help pupils progress at their own pace. Over the past two years, our approach with technology has delivered a reduction in underachievement in literacy and numeracy (P4–P7), with children showing greater confidence and independence in their learning. The EMPOWER project also strengthens social skills. Pupils collaborate daily, share ideas, and support each other through teamwork and peer tutoring. Accessibility features and translation tools ensure every child is included, regardless of background or need, helping to build empathy, respect, and friendships across our school community. We are proud to be investing in our children’s future empowering them to discover new possibilities, solve challenges and thrive in a dynamic world.
