Paul Howard current children’s writing fellow 2021-2023, based at the Seamus Heaney centre at Queens University, visited our P5 children on Monday 17th October. He is an award winning children’s author and illustrator, known best for his illustrations of “The owl who was afraid of the dark,” and the new collection of Joe Wicks children’s books.
Paul talked about the different methods of drawing and how much time and attention he spends on his work. We had a wonderful afternoon and had the opportunity to illustrate our own front cover from one of his books. Thank you Paul, we learned so much from you today!
